Touching Lives.\nJob purpose\nThe Warehouse Associate - II will be responsible for the movement of both inventory and non-inventory items within the Sun Pharma Canada warehouse(s), production and compounding departments, and with external customers while providing a high level of service to internal and external stakeholders.\nDuties and responsibilities\nOperate Fork Lift and/or Pallet trucks:\n\nTimely pick, stage, load/unload trucks, check and supply components, bulk inventory, and raw materials as per pick lists for the Packaging, Compounding and other internal departments. \nVerify material description, item number, lot number, container number, license plate and counts for all inbound and outbound materials and to ensure proper documentation in BPCS/SAP according procedures.\nMaterial movements via RF Gun and backup systems when required.\nDrive the 5 ton Sun Pharma trucks to move material safely between the Sun Pharma buildings.\nPerform timely cycle counts as required.\nComplete all cGMP Documentation correctly and in a timely manner.\nComplete all training assignments and maintain personal training records.\nParticipate in Internal, Customer and Regulatory Audits.\nGeneral housekeeping duties in efforts to maintain a clean and organized working area as per cGMP.\nOther duties as assigned. \n\nAdditional responsibility (Only applicable to customer facing roles)\nReport any adverse event received from customers for company products to the pharmacovigilance department / Drug Safety on the same day or within 1 business day\nQualifications\nMinimum Secondary School / High School Diploma. \nValid Ontario Driver’s License in good standing is required. \nFork lift truck certification is required. \n2-5 years’ experience with Raymond Reach truck, and Ride on Walkie (Counter balance is an asset). \n2 to 5 years of experience within a Warehouse environment. \nPrior pharmaceutical/food environment experience is a strong asset. \n\nExcellent written and communication skills.\nStrong ability to multi-task, manage time, and work independently. \nStrong organizational skills. \nGood mathematical skills. \nUnderstanding of cGMP concepts and SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures).\nGood understanding of SAP and RF is an asset.\nAbility to lift up to 25kgs objects and handle 220 kg drums using supplied equipment.\nRequired to follow and adhere to proper material handling procedures.\nMust be safety conscious. \nFirst Aid/CPR training is an asset.\nTroubleshoot inventory issues.\nWork as a team to resolve problems.\nKnow when to ask for help when the situation becomes too complex to resolve individually.\nWorking conditions\nWarehouse environment (room temperature).\nAbility to cope in a busy working environment is required.\nFlexibility to work overtime and weekends on an as required basis.\nPhysical requirements\nMix of standing, walking, bending, moving and lifting safely up to 25Kg containers and occasional handling drums of up to 220 kg with supplied equipment.\nDirect reports\nNA\nThis posting is for an existing vacancy.\nThe presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $44,000 to $55,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs which include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; RRSP savings plan; and the employee assistance program.
