Responsibilities & Technical Requirements : \n\n- Build and upgrade RHEL systems.\n\n- Perform advanced Linux troubleshooting using CLI tools and system logs.\n\n- Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.\n\n- Develop and troubleshoot Ansible playbooks and Puppet modules.\n\n- Write automation scripts using Bash and Python.\n\n- Build Python-based automation for APIs, system integrations, and operational workflows.\n\n- Configure and manage Apache Web Server in production environments.\n\n- Support PHP and HTML applications including debugging and performance tuning.\n\n- Administer and optimize MySQL databases (performance tuning, indexing, query analysis, backups).\n\n- Manage Red Hat Satellite and Capsules in load-balanced enterprise environments.\n\n- Perform OS patching, security hardening, and vulnerability remediation.\n\n- Implement and enforce security best practices across Linux systems.\n\n- Manage LVM configurations, disk provisioning, and SAN-attached storage.\n\n- Configure and troubleshoot network bonding and storage connectivity.\n\n- Diagnose and resolve performance issues across application, OS, and infrastructure layers.\n\n- Monitor systems using tools such as nmon, sar, Grafana, or similar monitoring platforms.\n\n- Support CI/CD processes and deployment automation pipelines.\n\n- Work with Rundeck or similar orchestration tools (preferred).\n\n- Support VMware-based virtualized environments.\n\n- Work within OCI and GCP cloud environments to manage Linux workloads.\n\n- Troubleshoot networking issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and firewalls.\n\n- Participate in production incident response and root cause analysis.\n\n- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment reliability and automation.\n\n- Maintain documentation for system architecture, automation workflows, and operational procedures.\n\n- Administer and support enterprise Linux environments (RHEL, Oracle Linux, CentOS).\n\nExperience & Skills : \n\n- 5+ years of hands-on Linux systems administration experience in enterprise environments.\n\n- 3+ years of automation experience using Ansible and/or Puppet.\n\n- Strong scripting skills (Bash required, Python highly preferred).\n\n- Experience supporting production web and database environments.\n\n- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and continuous improvement practices.\n\n- Experience working with distributed teams across time zones.\n\n- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\n- Clear and professional communication
