Your ability to write clean code, establish modern API integrations, and leverage ServiceNow out-of-the-box capabilities is vital to delivering secure, efficient, and user-centric solutions that directly support DAF mission readiness and day-to-day operations.\nJob Duties:\nSAM & ITAM Module Engineering.\nModule Configuration: Build, configure, and maintain ServiceNow SAM Pro, SaaS Management, and related HAM Pro integrations.\nLicense & Compliance Operations: Implement and maintain software entitlement models, license metrics, normalization rules, and automated reconciliation engines.\nLifecycle Automation: Design end-to-end asset lifecycle automations (e.g., software request, allocation, harvesting/reclamation, renewal, and retirement) using Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and Scoped Applications.\nPlatform Development & Customization.\nFull-Lifecycle Development: Design, code, debug, test, document, and deploy scalable solutions across the ServiceNow platform.\nCore Scripting & Logic: Implement clean, maintainable logic using Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, and Service Portal widgets following strict enterprise coding standards.\nData Architecture: Optimize ServiceNow data models, CMDB relationships, and asset table schemas for performance and integrity.\nIntegrations, Data Management & Reporting.\nData Ingestion & Mapping: Execute data imports, transform maps, and scheduled jobs to synchronize third-party discovery data, vendor portals, and procurement systems.\nAnalytics & Visibility: Build and maintain actionable SAM dashboards, executive compliance reports, custom database views, and automated audit reports.\nRelease, Maintenance & Governance.\nDeployment & Change Management: Prepare technical design specifications and migrate update sets/scoped applications across sub-production and production instances.\nUpgrades & Testing: Lead unit testing, resolve defects, support platform upgrades, patching, and automated test framework (ATF) validations.\nEmerging Platform Capabilities: Explore and integrate ServiceNow AI innovations (e.g., Now Assist and AI agents) to optimize asset operations and user self-service.\nStakeholder Collaboration & Enablement.\nRequirements Translation: Partner closely with IT Asset Managers, Procurement, and ITIL process owners to translate business licensing rules into technical platform specifications.\nKnowledge Transfer: Author technical architecture documents, administrative runbooks, and user-facing knowledge bases; mentor and onboard fellow team members.\nWhat Sets You Apart:\nRequires a Bachelors degree computer science, Information Systems, IT, Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or a Masters degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.\nAt least 4 years of ServiceNow development and scripting experience (JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML, XML), with deep proficiency in Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and API integrations.\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, required.\nAdvanced ServiceNow Certifications: Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM, preferred.\nStrong expertise in ITAM (SAM/HAM) and ITOM (CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping) modules.\nProven experience in large-scale ServiceNow implementations and platform governance.\nYou Might Also Have:\nMaster’s degree in IT or a related field.\nCertified Application Developer.\nITIL v4 Foundations Certification, a plus.\nBMC Helix or BMC Remedy experience.\n-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\nWho We Are \nSunayu, LLC serves as a premier technology partner to the Defense and Intelligence communities, delivering mission-critical engineering solutions across the nation.
