If you are interested in pursuing a rewarding career,we invite you to review our opportunities!\nJob Description Summary\nSupport IT systems and applications in use by internal and external end-users via application development, integration, and systems implementation.\nApply knowledge of software engineering and IT systems to ensure performance and interoperability requirements are satisfied.\nAnalyze user needs and software requirements, and ensure application scalability and capacity management.\nPrepare and implement standards, best practices and in application implementation, including IT security and privacy controls and compensating controls as appropriate.\nDevelop and continuously improve software features to ensure systems reliability and efficiency, including logging, monitoring, intelligent alerting, and self-healing systems.\nPerform analysis and implementation of IT systems redundancy and reliability, including High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Sustained Resiliency, and Chaos Engineering.\nPrepare Service and Operational Level Agreements.\nDevelop and optimize Application Knowledge Support Artifacts, etc.\nExercise ownership over day-to-day issues including daily health checks of applications and processes, working closely with end users, development staff and Infrastructure teams, to prioritize and resolve and/or mitigate system outages.\nMonitor IT systems and applications in production to ensure timely and effective reporting, tracking, follow-up and communication of problems to internal and external clients, technical resources, and executives.\nEnsures information controls, back-up and recovery strategies are in place across all environments.\nImplement continuous process improvement, including but not limited to policy, procedures, and monitoring of live IT production applications and systems.\nIdentify, coordinate, and implement initiatives/projects and activities that create efficiencies and optimize technical processing for IT applications.\nDevelop and maintain rapport with technical staff, end users, and clients, effectively communicating complex IT terms and concepts to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.\nCarefully evaluate alternative risks and solutions before taking action to provide timely resolution.\nRequirements:\nBachelor in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus 7 years of experience as a software architect, or in any position in which the required skills were gained.\nRequires demonstrated experience in:\nManaging full product lifecycle from development, to deployment, to support.\nManaging applications on Java, Cloud, and UNIX/Linux/Aix environments, including hand-on experience with Public and Private Cloud-based applications.\nDistributed databases, including Oracle, Cassandra, MongoDB, SQL, and SQL Server.\nApplicants monitoring tools, including Splunk and Dynatrace.\nPlatform orchestration using management APIs, including use of REST and JSON.\n$154,669.00 per year.\nApply: https://careers.sunbeltrentals.com/\nBase Pay Range: $85,680.00 - 117,810.00Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
