Software Project Manager responsibilities include working with Product management team to determine and define project scope and objectives, providing project status updates, and ensuring project stays on schedule and adheres to the deadlines.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nCore responsibilities of the software project manager include but are not limited to:\nWork with Product management team to determine and define project scope and objectives.\nAct as scrum master for daily standup meetings. Lead other meetings as needed.\nDevelop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.\nEnsure project stays on schedule and adheres to the deadlines.\nProvide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.\nUtilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.\nMonitor progress and make adjustments as needed.\nMeasure project performance to identify areas for improvement.\nFollow Sunbird’s software development process to participate in full software development life cycle.\nREQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field\n2-3 years of project management and related experience\nFamiliar with Agile software development process and scrum master experience\nProven ability to solve problems creatively.\nStrong familiarity with project management software tools (JIRA), methodologies, and best practices\nExperience seeing projects through the full life cycle.\nExcellent analytical skills\nStrong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful\nProven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline\nGood experience using Excel with familiarity with pivot tables, macros.\nDESIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS\n· PMP or CSM certifications\n· Hands on python programming experience\nABOUT SUNBIRD\n· We are all about delighting our clients and live/breathe the end client/user experience.\n· We have amazing PTO Policy that allows you to take care of yourself and your family.\n· We offer medical, dental, vision and life insurance to employees.\n· We believe in collaboration, teamwork, creativity and taking initiative.\nInterested?
