Due to continued expansion, Suncast is hiring 2nd and 3rd shift forklift operators. \nWe are looking for experienced forklift operators to move packages and material around our facilities. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job could involve driving around warehouses, storage spaces and other facilities. You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency.\n\nResponsibilities:\nUnload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places\nLocate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment\nIdentify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies\nTransport raw materials to production workstations\nInspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance\nKeep updated records of inventory and activity logs\nComply with company policies and legal guidelines\nHelp maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities\n\nSkills:\nProven experience operating sit-down or stand-up forklifts.\nAttention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred\nThis job includes some physical demands, including lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.\nForklift operators must be available to work 6-days per week, including Saturdays, during busy seasons\n\nJob Type: Full-time\nStarting Pay: $20.00 hour plus shift differential.
