The Maintenance Supervisor will support the Maintenance Manager, the maintenance team, overall maintenance efficiencies, and most importantly, its workforce as it relates to employee engagement, employee retention, and morale.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nPerforms a variety of duties in support of the operation of Phoenix Services, LLC. The job consists of providing maintenance services and related equipment to the Phoenix fleet. Responsible to act in accordance with the policies and procedures of Phoenix Services, LLC and its customers.\nCompliance with all Phoenix Services, LLC Safety Policies & Procedures, including wearing specific Personal Protective Equipment required for various job functions\nCompliance with all Phoenix Services, LLC Standard Operating Procedures\nAttendance at Mandatory monthly Safety Meetings\nHousekeeping and safe handling of materials and equipment must be exercised at all times\nExercise and implement proper lifting and carrying techniques when moving packaging materials\nPlanning work schedules and resource deployment\nPerforming quality control and quality assurance\nManaging and supervising shifts\nDelegating general and preventative maintenance on Transportation units (e.g., excavators, Taylor Stacker loaders, transport vehicles, etc.) into service.\nHandling components, modules, and systems of Transportation units\nDocumentation of all completed work\nTracking of all parts and lubricant consumed.\nObserving relevant safety, accident prevention, and environmental regulations\nKSA’s Required:\nProblem Solving and Analytical Skills\nLeadership Acumen\nTeamwork Orientation\nCommunication Proficiency\nThorough and Detail-Oriented\nWork Environment:\nThis job takes place in a Steel Mill setting requiring a sense of high-level safety reverence using the required PPE for the environment. This job also requires routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and listen in potentially noisy indoor and outdoor environments. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk on both flat and uneven surfaces; sit; climb stairs; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
