We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills.\nResponsibilities:\nSupport the proactive technical monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) and collaborate with operations to ensure that operational targets are met, required corrective actions are communicated and perform effective follow ups\nIdentify, communicate, and support the troubleshooting of short and long cycle threats within the production unit\nPerform technical investigations and root cause analysis and provide technical feedback and recommendations to return the plant to normal operation after upsets\nPerform required studies, problem definitions, and calculations for plant optimization\nDevelop tools to improve both process and equipment monitoring and performance projection\nProvide technical support for tasks such as: regulatory reporting, operational procedure reviews, management of change (MOC) execution, risk reviews, bottleneck identification and plant turnarounds\nSupport continuous improvement efforts through stewardship of the MOC process among the process engineering discipline\nHandle development and maintenance of living process engineering documents and tools such as; piping and instrumentation diagrams ((P&ID), specs and targets, safe operating limits, and heat and material balance\nLocation and other Key Details:\nYou will work out of our Firebag location, which is our largest in situ operation and one of the largest in the world (and located 120 km northeast of Fort McMurray, Alberta)\nThe shift schedule is a 4 days on/3 days off, Monday to Thursday schedule and a 40-hour work week\nThis is a Fly-in/Fly-out (FIFO) camp-based position; you will FIFO from a Suncor hub location: Calgary/Edmonton, Alberta or Saskatoon, Saskatchewan \nThis position is safety sensitive\nThink we are a fit?
