We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills.\nResponsibilities:\nAccountable for the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of Suncor's 13.8 kV to 260 kV transmission and distribution assets\nLead operational decision-making while balancing safety, reliability, cost, environmental, and production impacts\nProvide leadership during emergent events including forced outages, equipment failures, and production disruptions\nEnsure effective execution of weekly maintenance plans, outage schedules, and emergent work\nSupport switching, isolation planning, outage coordination, and return-to-service activities\nMonitor asset performance and ensure reliability risks are identified and address\nProvide operational support during maintenance, commissioning, and startup activities\nResponsible for contractor management, including scope development, work execution oversight, safety performance, and service delivery\nLocation and other Key details:\nYou will work out of our Firebag location, which is our largest in situ operation and one of the largest in the world (and located 120 km northeast of Fort McMurray, Alberta) \nThis is a Fly-in/Fly-out (FIFO) camp-based position; you will FIFO from a Suncor hub\nlocation: Calgary/Edmonton, Alberta or Saskatoon, Saskatchewan \n8 on 6 off in camp fly in fly out\nThis position is safety sensitive \nThink we are a fit?
