We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills.\nResponsibilities:\nLead interactions with regulators in various Provincial jurisdictions in Canada related to Environmental ComplianceOversee environmental projects including monitoring, site assessments, remediation (excavation and in-situ), and risk assessments by directing consultants and contractors from proposal through execution. \nReview and approve technical deliverables including work plans, assessment reports, and remediation reports prepared by third-party consultants. \nManage project and territory budgets, establishing annual forecasts and providing regular updates on cost performance and estimates. \nSet and enforce performance expectations for service providers by cascading company policies and procedures, monitoring compliance (including safety), and implementing corrective actions as required. \nCollaborate with Legal and stakeholders to respond to third-party inquiries, negotiate with impacted parties, and draft correspondence and agreements. \nProvide technical leadership and support to internal business units on environmental matters and strategic initiatives. \nSupport project execution and safety culture by participating in project kick-offs, guiding environmental components of construction and remediation projects, and conducting safety oversight and audits. \nLocation and other Key Details:\nThis position is office-based, with a location at Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 - 6th Avenue S.W.\nHours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to FridayT\nhis is considered a mobile position and travel within your territory will be expected to ensure the safe reliable execution of project work in the field\nOur business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based on years of experience and scope of work \nThink we are a fit?
