Eng is required\n7 years experience in design, installation, inspection and maintenance aspects of subsea umbilical, riser and flowline systems (SURF)\nExperience and knowledge of the inspection, maintenance and operating principles of subsea umbilical, riser and flowline systems and project management\nExperience with a computerized maintenance management systems\nDemonstrated ability to influence based on technical understanding and justification\nKnowledge and experience in environmental, safety and loss prevention process and practices\nBusiness management skills pertaining to resource planning, budgeting and stewardship\nPlanning, communication, and continuous improvement/re-engineering skills required to deliver overall value to asset\n Responsibilities:\nProvide primary point of contact and focal point for all subsea SURF (subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines) equipment issues and technical evaluations to Terra Nova Operations\nMaintain Terra Nova subsea SURF documents\nManage annual subsea ROV inspection program\nDevelop technical solutions and plans for resolving SURF issues to optimize production from the Terra Nova Field\nProvide technical support and input to projects on subsea issues (risers, flowlines, manifolds and jumpers)\nEnsuring all IMR activities meet regulatory requirements\nDevelop operations, maintenance & inspection strategies while looking for continuous improvement opportunities\nProvide Certifying Authority interface management on SURF related activities\nSupervise, assign work to, and check the work of, SURF consultants, contractors, and students\nProvide input to the annual budget and quarterly updates\nAct as technical representative for contracts for the supply of services for subsea SURF equipment\nInitiate, manage and verify contract call outs\nPlan, organize and carry out complex and advanced technical studies on Terra Nova subsea SURF systems\nSupervise implementation of subsea offshore projects\nParticipate as part of the Emergency Response Team supporting the Terra Nova FPSO\nReview of technical clarification and deviations against specifications\nLiaison with topsides personnel to understand all interfaces and system impacts\nLocation and other Key Details:\nYou will work out of the Suncor Centre Offices located at 130 Kelsey Drive, St. John’s, Newfoundland\nHours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extra time based on project requirements\nPeriodic trips to the Terra Nova FPSO, ROV vessel, and Intervention vessels\nRequired to support the Emergency Response Team which may involve an “on-call” rotation\nThink we are a fit?
