We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills.\nResponsibilities:\nLead the frontline team and safely execute the assigned daily work plan\nEnsures employees understand the scope, expectations, hazards, production targets and quality requirements and that work is completed safely, efficiently and to specification\nLeaders work closely with the Shift Coordinators and Operation Specialists and is accountable for the performance, coordination and execution of their assigned crew\nLead and provide day-to-day direction to the assigned crew\nConduct crew line-up/start-of-shift meetings\nClearly communicate the daily work plan, priorities, production targets and expectations\nAssign operators to equipment and work areas based on competency and operational requirements\nKnow the capabilities and limitations of the team\nCoach employees in the field and address performance or behavioral concerns promptly\nRecognize good performance and reinforce expected behaviours\nMonitor attendance, crew readiness and fitness for duty\nEnsure employees understand their individual responsibilities and accountabilities\nSupport employee development, training and competency progression\nBuild a culture where employees speak up about hazards, quality concerns and opportunities for improvement\nLocation and other key details:\nYou will work out of our Mildred lake Location in Fort McMurray, AB\nYou will work a 3 days/3 nights/6 days off schedule.
