You'll spend your time out in market, meeting with brokers, understanding their needs, supporting their success and identifying opportunities to grow together.\nIf you're a natural relationship builder who loves being on the road, working autonomously and making things happen, we'd love to hear from you.\nWhat you'll be doing\nAs our next Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of broker partners across the South Island.\nNo two days are the same, but you can expect to:\nBuild trusted relationships with brokers and become their go-to contact.\nIdentify opportunities to grow business across your portfolio.\nDevelop and execute account plans that deliver strong commercial outcomes.\nWork closely with underwriting and internal teams to support brokers and customers.\nHelp brokers navigate opportunities, challenges and complex insurance solutions.\nRepresent the Vero brand in market and champion what makes us different.\nKeep close to market trends and share insights that help shape our approach.\nTravel regularly throughout the region to stay connected with your broker network.\nWhat you'll bring\nSuccess in this role comes down to your ability to build trusted relationships and identify opportunities for growth.\nYou'll have experience in business development, relationship management or a similar commercial role, along with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and achieve results.
