As Payroll Analyst (known internally as a Payroll and TLM Advisor ), you will support payroll changes, projects and functional user acceptance testing while strengthening processes after recent implementations.\nThis role focuses on continuous improvement, payroll integrity and practical value for employees. You will help establish effective structures, resolve defects, recommend improvements and mentor team members across a broad range of payroll initiatives.\nWhat You'll Do\nProvide payroll expertise for system changes, projects, requirements, functional user acceptance testing and change activities.\nAnalyse payroll defects, compliance risks and improvement opportunities, then recommend practical solutions.\nCreate and review process documentation and employee guides that support consistent payroll outcomes.\nContribute to control testing, audits and compliance monitoring across Australia and New Zealand.\nCollaborate with HR, Finance, technology teams and external payroll partners to maintain data accuracy and system alignment.\nCoach team members on payroll principles, legislative interpretation, testing and process improvement.\nWhat You'll Bring\nEight or more years of payroll experience, including at least two years supporting projects and payroll testing.\nStrong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation, taxation, leave, awards, agreements and compliance obligations.\nExperience with enterprise payroll platforms such as SAP, Oracle PeopleSoft, ADP or Chris21, plus HRIS and time systems.\nAdvanced analytical skills across complex reconciliations, trend analysis, compliance reviews and data informed recommendations.\nExperience working with payroll managed service providers or offshore partners.\nClear communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to explain complex payroll matters to varied audiences.\nWhat You'll Enjoy\nAccess our award-winning Shine platform - your central hub for exclusive perks, wellbeing support, career development, and recognition.
