This role ensures safe, high-quality, and timely execution of electrical scope in compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. The Electrical Superintendent will coordinate subcontractors, oversee field crews, and serve as a key liaison between field operations and project management.\nKey Responsibilities\nField Leadership & Execution\nSupervise and direct electrical subcontractors and field crews during installation of solar modules, inverters, transformers, switchgear, and MV collection systems.\n\nEnsure installation meets project drawings, specifications, NEC, NESC, and local codes.\n\nOversee trenching, cable pulling, terminations, grounding, testing, and commissioning activities.\n\nMaintain daily presence on-site to verify progress, safety, and quality.\n\nSafety & Compliance\nEnforce all company and site-specific safety policies in alignment with OSHA and NFPA 70E standards.\n\nConduct job hazard analyses, daily toolbox talks, and safety inspections.\n\nStop unsafe work and ensure corrective actions are taken immediately.\n\nQuality Assurance\nPerform inspections of electrical work for compliance with drawings, codes, and best practices.\n\nEnsure all electrical testing (insulation resistance, megger, hi-pot, continuity, etc.) is documented and approved.\n\nTrack and close out punch-list items in a timely manner.\n\nScheduling & Coordination\nWork with Project Manager and Construction Manager to develop and maintain project schedules.\n\nCoordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to achieve milestones.\n\nCommunicate effectively with civil and mechanical superintendents to align construction sequences.\n\nReporting & Documentation\nTrack daily production, crew hours, equipment usage, and material deliveries.\n\nMaintain accurate redlines and as-built documentation for electrical systems.\n\nPrepare daily/weekly reports on progress, safety, and issues.\n\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required;
