This role supports environmental permitting, monitoring, reporting, and mitigation activities while working closely with project management, construction teams, and regulatory agencies to minimize environmental risk and ensure sustainable project execution.\nKey Responsibilities\nEnsure compliance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations (EPA, state DEP, local agencies)\n\nSupport environmental permitting and approvals, including:\nStormwater (NPDES, SWPPP)\n\nWetlands and waterways\n\nAir quality and emissions\n\nWaste management and hazardous materials\n\nConduct environmental inspections and site audits\n\nPrepare, review, and maintain environmental plans and documentation, including:\nSWPPP\n\nSPCC\n\nEnvironmental Management Plans (EMP)\n\nMonitor erosion and sediment control measures and ensure corrective actions are implemented\n\nCoordinate environmental sampling, monitoring, and reporting\n\nInterface with regulatory agencies, inspectors, and consultants\n\nSupport incident investigations and environmental corrective action plans\n\nAssist with environmental training for field and project staff\n\nTrack compliance metrics and prepare reports for management\n\nSupport environmental due diligence for new projects or acquisitions\n\nQualifications\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, or a related field\n\n3+ years of experience in environmental compliance or environmental management\n\nWorking knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations\n\nExperience with environmental permitting and inspections\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\n\nAbility to travel to project sites as required\n\nPreferred:\nExperience in construction, EPC, energy, or infrastructure projects\n\nKnowledge of utility-scale solar, wind, or transmission projects\n\nOSHA 30-Hour Certification\n\nHAZWOPER 40-Hour Certification\n\nExperience working with regulatory
