The successful candidate will be responsible for managing scope, schedule, budget, permitting, procurement, and contractor coordination to deliver high-quality substation infrastructure for utility-scale power systems, including renewable energy interconnections.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage all phases of substation projects, from engineering design through construction and energization.\n\nOversee project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.\n\nCoordinate with internal departments (engineering, procurement, operations) and external partners (utilities, contractors, consultants).\n\nEnsure compliance with applicable codes, standards (IEEE, NESC), and safety regulations.\n\nInterface with regulatory agencies, utilities, and permitting bodies as needed to support project development and execution.\n\nTrack project milestones and generate status reports for leadership and stakeholders.\n\nManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nLead weekly project meetings and facilitate collaboration between stakeholders and vendors.\n\nSupport procurement of major equipment (transformers, breakers, relays, SCADA) and ensure timely delivery.\n\nIdentify project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.\n\n5+ years of project management experience, preferably in substation or power infrastructure.\n\nWorking knowledge of substation components (HV equipment, protection & control, grounding, etc.).\n\nFamiliarity with permitting, environmental compliance, and utility interconnection processes.\n\nProficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, Procore) and Excel.\n\nPMP certification is a plus.\n\nStrong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.\n\nAbility to travel to project sites as needed.\n\nPreferred Experience:\nExperience with renewable energy interconnections (solar, wind, BESS).\n\nEPC or utility project delivery experience.\n\nUnderstanding of SCADA, protection schemes, and relay
