Security that flies ahead of every threat.\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for a hands-on Electronics Engineer who enjoys designing, building and testing electronics. You will help develop the electronics for our next-generation drone and base station and improve existing hardware.\nWorking closely with our Head of Hardware, electrical, mechanical and robotics engineers and our production team, you will take responsibility for smaller PCB assemblies and flex circuits, from requirements and schematics through PCB layout, bring-up and validation.\nTasks\nOwn the development and improvement of smaller PCB assemblies and flex circuits, from design through bring-up and validation.\nDesign circuits and lay out PCBs, select components and maintain schematics, bills of materials and manufacturing files.\nCreate and maintain cable drawings and connector specifications, and prepare cable sets for prototyping.\nBring up, measure and debug prototype circuit boards, investigating faults and verifying performance against requirements.\nDevelop test setups and procedures to validate your designs and support production testing, documenting results and acceptance criteria.\nWork with firmware and mechanical engineers to integrate electronics, sensors, power supplies and communication interfaces into complete systems.\nImprove designs for manufacturing and test, working with suppliers and production on component alternatives and controlled hardware changes.\nRequirements\nDegree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience developing electronic hardware from circuit design and component selection through PCB bring-up, validation and production support.\nProficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer, with solid knowledge of analog and digital circuits, power supplies and component selection.\nPractical experience designing and integrating CAN and I²C interfaces.\nHands-on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, lab power supplies and soldering, with a methodical approach to board bring-up, measurement and fault isolation.\nGood written and spoken English and a collaborative working style, sound engineering judgement, with the ability to take ownership and communicate design decisions clearly.\nNice to have :\nExperience with drones, robotics or other embedded and electromechanical systems.\nKnowledge of battery management, charging circuits, motor control or power electronics.\nExperience designing STM32-based hardware.\nFamiliarity with SPI or UART, basic firmware development or Python scripting for testing.\nExperience with EMC, EMI, ESD protection, signal integrity or preparing electronics for manufacturing and product certification.\nExperience with IEC 61508, IEC 62368-1, ISO 26262, IEEE 1662 and other electronics related standards\nBenefits\nFlexibility to work from home when tasks allow, without fixed weekly work-from-home days.\nComprehensive training on products and production procedures.\nHands-on experience with advanced drone and robotics technology.\nOn-site parking, occasional team lunches, and team events.\nWe are looking forward to receiving your CV and a short description or portfolio of your relevant projects.
