Join us!\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nResponsible for all technical and engineering aspects for assigned projects. The Sr Project Engineer works to establish criteria for proper implementation of all the technical elements of projects in collaboration with corporate and manufacturing site personnel. Provide guidance to the project manager and team throughout the project lifecycle.\nPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS\nThe minimum competencies needed to perform the job's essential duties include knowledge, skills, abilities, level of education, and experience necessary for successful performance. These competencies are demonstrated through specific service, education, or training.\nKnowledge:\nSubstantive technical, project management, customer liaison experience, gained over time within the organization.\nExperience in development and implementation of project control processes.\nFacilitate and encourage objective analysis of alternative points of view and be able to articulate the strengths and weaknesses of various business opinions to reach an informed decision.\nLeverage business insight to communicate highly technical information to ensure understanding across the business.\nSkills & Abilities:\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.\nStrong, proactive analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work with multiple discipline projects.\nDemonstrated collaboration and critical thinking skills alongside dedication to continuous improvement.\nLevel of Experience:\nMinimum of 5-7 years proven experience in project engineering.\nMedical device experience is beneficial.\nProven stakeholder management skills.\nProven experience working with global teams.\nExperience using computers for a variety of tasks.\nCompetency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project.\nLevel of Education:\nBachelor's degree in business or related field.\nAny additional Project Management Certifications will be considered an advantage.\nTravel:\nAs required based upon program and project needs.\n3-5 days per month on average.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES\nThe core tasks, duties, and responsibilities that must be performed on the job.\nCollaborates with project managers and a cross-functional team to determine engineering and technical needs.\nEstablishes relationships with stakeholders, team members, and affected parties to ensure customer satisfaction.\nAssists in the development of project plans, project capital and expense budgets, and product cost estimates.\nAnticipates areas of risk and proactively defines mitigation strategies.\nAnalyzes production materials, methods, and equipment to provide recommendations to optimize financial benefit, timelines, and production efficiency.\nDefines and develops the testing, verification, and validation strategy with project managers and production plant personnel.\nCoordinates with engineering and operations across all company sites to ensure accurate and timely analysis, planning, and execution of project tasks.\nResolves emergent problems and crisis situations requiring fast, astute decisions and rapid implementation with effective teamwork.\nManages third party resources for external testing.\nEnsures compliance with relevant standards, technical documentation, and best practices.\nOTHER RESPONSIBLITIES\nFocus on achieving our Company mission. \nDemonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in daily work; look for ways to improve and promote quality & safety. \nInspire the trust of others; treat people with respect and dignity and embrace the value of diversity.\nUse time efficiently; perform job accurately, thoroughly, and conserve Company resources to improve profits.\nContribute to building and maintaining a positive team environment.\nAssure all policies and guidelines are implemented and followed.\nQUALITY POLICY\nAt AirLife, Quality is our promise.
