The ideal candidate is pragmatic, curious, and a continuous learner. You will be comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will play a critical role in sourcing, engaging, and hiring top Data & AI talent. You will drive the recruitment process from start to finish. You will also act as an informal lead for our LATAM recruiting team. As part of a growing company, you will have the opportunity to help shape the future of our team and culture.\nResponsibilities:\nSource and attract top Data & AI talent through a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and talent pools.\n\nManage the full recruitment lifecycle.\n\nAct as an informal lead for the LATAM recruiting team, in partnership with the VP of Talent Acquisition.\n\nCoach and mentor recruiters on sourcing, screening, and candidate experience.\n\nHelp set weekly priorities and balance reqs across the team.\n\nTrack pipeline and recruiting metrics and share progress and risks with the VP of Talent Acquisition.\n\nShare best practices and help improve recruiting processes.\n\nRecruit for Data & AI roles such as Data Engineers, Solutions Architects, Machine Learning Engineers, Full Stack Developers, and Technical Product Managers.\n\nConduct interviews and assess candidates for technical skills, consulting skills, cultural fit, and overall potential.\n\nPartner with hiring managers and delivery leaders to understand the needs of each role.\n\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with candidates, providing an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.\n\nStay current with Data & AI trends, the Databricks ecosystem, and competitive recruiting strategies.\n\nWork in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment, helping to shape the growth of the company.\n\nBalance multiple roles at once while ensuring a positive experience for all candidates.\n\nQualifications:\nIdeally based in Uruguay or Argentina.\n\n5+ years of experience recruiting for Tech roles.\n\n2+ years of experience leading a small recruiting team, in a formal or informal lead role.\n\nExperience coaching and mentoring junior recruiters.\n\nExperience setting team priorities and distributing reqs across a team.\n\nExperience using recruiting metrics to track progress and guide team decisions.\n\nExperience recruiting in LATAM, across multiple countries in the region.\n\nExperience recruiting in a consulting or professional services environment.\n\nProven track record of recruiting for Data & AI roles, including Data Engineers, Solutions Architects, Machine Learning Engineers, Full Stack Developers, and Technical Product Managers.\n\nAbility to understand technical concepts and assess technical skills at a screening level.\n\nA pragmatic approach to problem solving and a focus on practical results.\n\nNatural curiosity and a strong desire to keep learning about new technologies and markets.\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.\n\nAbility to work independently and handle ambiguity.\n\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple roles at the same time.\n\nAdvanced English level.\n\nNice to Have:\nUnderstanding of Databricks and the modern data platform landscape.\n\nEducation:\nBachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is preferred or equivalent experience.\n\nOur Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion\nAt SunnyData, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture where everyone can excel.
