As a Senior Data Engineer with Databricks experience, you will play a critical role during this customer journey. You will directly work with internal teams and customers to design, build and deploy data solutions that capture, explore, transform, and utilize data to support Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Business Intelligence insights.\nThe Impact You Will Have\nBe part of a team responsible for supporting new and existing customers in their data engineering needs.\n\nGuide customers to make the best technical decisions to achieve their goals.\n\nActively work across multiple customer accounts, tracking and reporting on their progress.\n\nDesign, build and operationalize complex data solutions, fix issues, apply transformations, and recommend data cleansing / quality solutions.\n\nAnalyze data sources to determine their value and recommend including them in analytical processes.\n\nIncorporate core data management competencies including data governance, data security and data quality.\n\nCollaborate within and across teams to support delivery and educate end users on data products / analytic environments.\n\nPerform data and system analysis, assessment and resolution for defects and incidents of moderate complexity and correct as appropriate.\n\nTest data movement, transformation code, and data components.\n\nWhat We Look For\n7+ years of related experience in data engineering and data product development.\n\n3+ years of experience in consulting environment.\n\nStrong knowledge of the Databricks platform.\n\nExperience with legacy-to-Databricks migration projects.\n\nHands-on experience with Databricks Asset Bundles (DAB), clustering techniques, and performance optimization.\n\nFamiliarity with other data platforms and technologies.\n\nExperience working with Azure, AWS, or GCP, as well as CI/CD and GenAI.\n\nStrong SQL and PySpark skills.\n\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.\n\nExperience with Databricks Genie and Databricks Apps is a strong plus.\n\nExperience delivering 5+ projects using Databricks.\n\nEducation:\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering related field.\n\nOur Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:\nSunnyData is dedicated to building a workforce that reflects the world around us.
