As a Senior AI Platform Engineer, you'll build the APIs, SDKs and shared tooling, including eval infrastructure, tracing and model routing, that let engineers across Suno ship agent features faster. You'll work closely with the agent team, partner teams and Infra, and your customers are other engineers, so adoption is a measure of success. You'll help shape the platform as it grows.\nListen to the song we made about it:https://suno.com/s/bxgQXsn06Vz3KKEn\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign and build the platform APIs and SDKs that other teams use to build agent features.\n\nDevelop shared eval infrastructure, including the eval runner, results storage and dashboards, and help the team decide what to build and what to buy.\n\nImplement end-to-end tracing and observability, so any request can be followed across services from prompt to audio.\n\nManage model provider routing, fallback, rate limits and cost controls.\n\nPartner with engineering teams across Suno to onboard them onto the platform with docs and hands-on support, and with Infra on the reliability and scale of the agent runtime.\n\nHelp more people turn ideas into music by making it faster and safer for teams across Suno to ship agent features.\n\nWhat You'll Need\nMust-Haves\n4-6 years building and scaling backend or platform systems in production, in any language.\n\nExperience on a team that supports other developer teams, including building a platform, API or SDK that other teams adopted.\n\nExperience with production LLM or agent systems, for external or internal users.\n\nDepth in distributed systems and observability, including tracing across services.\n\nComfort working with internal customers: scoping with partner teams, earning adoption and handling ambiguity.\n\nNice-to-Haves\nExperience building an eval or tracing product.\n\nExperience running LLM gateway or model routing infrastructure.\n\nExperience writing SDKs that other teams use.\n\nExperience with Python backends.\n\nWork Location Policy\nThis role is expected to work from the designated Suno SF office 5 days a week, per Suno's company policy.
