The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes cluster administration, AWS infrastructure, high availability, disaster recovery, automation, monitoring, and cloud-native technologies.\n\nThe candidate will be responsible for ensuring infrastructure reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency while collaborating with globally distributed teams.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Design, configure, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters and containerized infrastructure in production environments.\n\n- Manage container orchestration and cluster infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, vCluster, and KubeVela.\n\n- Implement high-availability solutions and disaster recovery strategies across AWS cloud and hybrid environments.\n\n- Manage AWS infrastructure components, including VPC, Subnets, Elastic Load Balancer (ELB), EC2 Security Groups, Secrets Manager, EBS Snapshots, ECS, CloudWatch, and SQS.\n\n- Design and maintain backup, recovery, and data lifecycle management solutions using Velero, DynamoDB, RDS PostgreSQL, and Amazon S3.\n\n- Develop infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Python.\n\n- Implement GitOps workflows and deployment automation using ArgoCD and/or FluxCD.\n\n- Configure and maintain monitoring, observability, and service mesh solutions using Istio, Kiali, Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus.\n\n- Support event-driven architectures and data processing pipelines using Apache Kafka and Apache Spark.\n\n- Administer Linux servers, troubleshoot system issues, and maintain secure, reliable infrastructure.\n\n- Configure single sign-on (SSO), authentication, and user access management using Keycloak and/or Okta.\n\n- Ensure infrastructure security, scalability, cost optimization, reliability, and adherence to regulatory compliance requirements.\n\n- Collaborate with cross-functional and globally distributed teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve platform operations.\n\n- Maintain source code and infrastructure configurations using Git, preferably GitLab.\n\nMandatory Technical Skills:\n\n- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification.\n\n- Strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes cluster administration and production environment maintenance.\n\n- Good knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.\n\n- Experience with Helm and Kubernetes cluster management.\n\n- Strong Linux administration skills covering clients and servers.\n\n- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and high-availability architecture.\n\n- Knowledge of disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity concepts, including RTO and RPO.\n\n- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform and/or Python.\n\n- Experience with Git-based version control and GitOps practices.\n\n- Knowledge of infrastructure security, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.\n\nPreferred / Good-to-Have Skills:\n\n- AWS Solutions Architect certification.\n\n- vCluster, KubeVela, and Rancher.\n\n- AWS services: VPC, Subnets, ELB, EC2, ECS, Secrets Manager, EBS Snapshots, CloudWatch, and SQS.\n\n- Apache Kafka and Apache Spark ETL pipelines; Java is preferred.\n\n- Velero, DynamoDB, RDS PostgreSQL, and Amazon S3.\n\n- GitLab, ArgoCD, and FluxCD.\n\n- Istio, Kiali, Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.\n\n- Keycloak and/or Okta SSO.\n\n- Experience managing hybrid cloud environments and regulatory compliance.\n\nBehavioral Skills:\n\n- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n\n- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.\n\n- Good teamwork and collaboration skills.\n\n- Experience working with globally distributed teams.\n\n- Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and take ownership of deliverables.\n\nExperience Requirements:\n\n- 6 - 8 years of relevant professional experience.\n\n- Strong practical experience in Kubernetes administration, cloud infrastructure, and production operations.\n\n- Demonstrated experience in automation, monitoring, high availability, and infrastructure reliability.\n\nCertification Requirements:\n\n- Mandatory: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).\n\n- Optional: AWS Solutions Architect certification.\n\nIdeal Candidate Profile:\n\nThe ideal candidate is a hands-on Kubernetes and Cloud Platform Engineer with strong production infrastructure experience, practical AWS knowledge, automation skills, and an understanding of high availability and disaster recovery.
