The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on expertise in Python, Pytest, framework development from scratch, and Linux-based testing, along with the ability to drive automation strategy and mentor engineering teams.\n\nCore Mandatory Skills:\n\n- Strong hands-on Python programming.\n\n- Advanced Pytest experience.\n\n- Proven experience designing and developing test automation frameworks from scratch, end to end.\n\n- Strong hands-on Linux/Unix experience, including shell scripting, command-line operations, log analysis and troubleshooting.\n\n- Strong experience in test automation architecture, regression testing, debugging and framework optimization.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Lead the architecture, design and implementation of Python/Pytest automation frameworks from scratch.\n\n- Develop reusable libraries, fixtures, test runners, configuration modules, reporting and evidence-capture utilities.\n\n- Establish automation standards, coding practices, framework scalability and maintainability.\n\n- Lead automation strategy for functional, integration, regression and system-level testing.\n\n- Develop or extend test harnesses and simulators for system-level testing where applicable.\n\n- Perform hands-on debugging and troubleshooting in Linux environments.\n\n- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and improve execution reliability.\n\n- Analyze failures, conduct root-cause investigations and distinguish product defects from automation issues.\n\n- Collaborate with software development, system testing and cross-functional engineering teams.\n\n- Mentor automation engineers, conduct code reviews and drive continuous improvement.\n\nGood-to-Have Skills:\n\n- C++ programming and simulation experience.\n\n- Test harness development, embedded testing or system integration testing.\n\n- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.\n\n- SIL/HIL testing or experience with safety-critical systems.\n\n- Experience with complex industrial, medical technology or railway systems.\n\nCandidate Profile:\n\n- 10+ years of relevant software testing and automation experience.\n\n- Demonstrated technical leadership combined with hands-on engineering capability.\n\n- Must have personally developed an automation framework from scratch.\n\n- Must have strong practical Linux experience.\n\n- Experience limited to maintaining
