This role partners with business stakeholders and developers to design solutions that are secure, maintainable, and built for long-term growth rather than one-off fixes.\nEssential Duties:\nOwn the end-to-end technical architecture of SunPower's Salesforce org(s), including data model, security model, and integration architecture.\nTranslate business requirements from Sales, Service, and Operations into scalable, well-documented Salesforce solutions.\nLead design and code review for custom development (Apex, Lightning Web Components, flows) built by internal and contract developers.\nDefine and enforce Salesforce governance standards: environment strategy, release management, and change control.\nArchitect integrations between Salesforce and other core systems (NetSuite, marketing automation, telephony, etc.).\nEvaluate and recommend AppExchange packages versus custom builds, balancing speed, cost, and long-term maintainability.\nOwn technical debt reduction and platform health, including managing org complexity as SunPower integrates newly acquired companies.\nPartner with the VP of IT and business stakeholders to set the Salesforce roadmap and prioritize the backlog.\nMentor junior Salesforce admins/developers and support their growth.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n7+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including at least 3 years in an architect-level role.\nSalesforce Application Architect and/or System Architect certification (or equivalent depth of experience) required; additional certifications (Platform Developer II, Sales Cloud/Service Cloud Consultant) a plus.\nDeep knowledge of Salesforce data modeling, security architecture, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow.\nDemonstrated experience to include AI native to SFDC or from outside software to link into SDFC\nProven experience designing integrations between Salesforce and external systems via REST/SOAP APIs or middleware.\nExperience supporting a Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud implementation at scale, ideally in a multi-entity or acquisitive company.\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders as well as engineers.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Regular periods of sitting or standing may be required by this position. In addition, this position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds.
