The role focuses on propulsion architecture, high-voltage systems, communication networks, testing, and overall system integration.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop electric propulsion architectures for electric and hybrid mobility platforms. \nLead integration and operation of: \nPMSM motors \nAxial flux motors \nInverters and motor controllers \nOnboard chargers \nHigh-voltage battery systems \nDC/DC converters \nPower distribution systems \nDefine system architecture, electrical interfaces, communication logic, and operational strategies between propulsion components. \nBe fully familiar with communication protocols and system behavior, ensuring proper integration between all propulsion devices and delivering clear technical requirements and interface definitions to the PLC/software programming teams. \nBe familiar with communication protocols including CAN Bus, CANopen, Modbus, NMEA 2000, Ethernet/IP, and other industrial communication systems, and collaborate closely with the PLC/software programming teams to define communication logic, signal mapping, and system integration requirements.\nSupport battery integration, thermal management, and cooling system design for motors, inverters, and HV battery packs. \nPerform load testing, validation, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of electric propulsion systems. \nWork closely with software, PLC, HMI, and automation teams during system integration and commissioning. \nSupport fault analysis, safety systems, real-time monitoring, and system protection strategies. \nCoordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for propulsion equipment integration, testing, and technical support. \nRequirements\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field. \nMinimum 5 years of experience in electric propulsion, EV systems, industrial electric drives, or electric mobility projects. \nStrong hands-on experience with: \nPMSM motors \nAxial flux motors \nInverters and motor drives \nHV battery systems \nChargers and power electronics \nCooling and thermal management systems \nStrong understanding of: \nHV safety systems \nElectrical protection systems \nEnergy management systems \nElectric propulsion architecture \nCommunication protocols and real-time system operation \nAbility to define system communication flow, signal mapping, and operational logic for integration with programming and automation teams. \nStrong troubleshooting, testing, and system integration capabilities.
