This position performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and general repairs for buildings, equipment, and club infrastructure while supporting daily operations of the golf club.\nEssential Functions:\nPerform routine maintenance and repairs on club facilities, including clubhouse, offices, restrooms, kitchens, locker rooms, and other property buildings. \nConduct preventative maintenance inspections and complete work orders in a timely manner. \nTroubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, painting, carpentry, and mechanical issues. \nMaintain and repair doors, locks, windows, furniture, fixtures, and equipment. \nAssist with setup and breakdown for club events, tournaments, and special functions. \nEnsure all maintenance areas, tools, and equipment are kept clean, organized, and safe. \nRespond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations. \nMonitor facility conditions and report major repair needs or safety concerns to management. \nOperate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and maintenance equipment safely. \nSupport compliance with OSHA regulations and club safety standards. \n Assist with exterior maintenance, including pressure washing, minor landscaping support, and trash removal as needed. \nMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory usage. \nWork collaboratively with all departments to support club operations and member satisfaction.\nDrive and maneuver golf carts safely.\nMaintain satisfactory attendance. \nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nNone.\nQualifications:\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMinimum of 2 years of facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or related experience. \nBasic working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repair practices. \nAbility to safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment. \nAbility to read and follow work orders, safety procedures, and maintenance instructions.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.\nAbility to perform all essential functions of the job description.\nPreferred Qualifications\nTrade school certification or technical training in facilities maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or a related field. \nPrevious experience working in a golf club, hospitality, resort, or recreational facility environment. \nExperience with preventative maintenance programs and facility management systems. \nKnowledge of OSHA safety standards and safe maintenance practices. \nAbility to troubleshoot and repair commercial facility systems independently. \nForklift, lift equipment, or other maintenance-related certifications preferred. \nStrong customer service and communication skills in a member-focused environment.\nPhysical Demands:\nFrequently stands, walks, sits; uses hands; frequently reaches with hands and arms; frequently talks and hears. \nOccasionally climbs or balances; occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches, squats or crawls; occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.\nMust be able to traverse various athletic grounds and facilities.\nManual dexterity to operate tools and equipment safely.\nEnvironment/Noise: \nMust be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.\nFrequently works in outdoor weather conditions. \nNoise level is loud.\n\nEmployee Benefits Include:\n401k (with Employer match)\nTenure recognition and awards\nVehicle Purchase Discount Program\nVehicle Service Discount Program\nGolf Benefits at Maderas Golf Club (subject to qualification)\n\nIf you receive an offer of employment, it will be a conditional offer contingent on the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.\nSunroad is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities to ensure equal employment opportunities and access to all programs, services, and activities.
