Sunrun is the largest dedicated residential solar and storage company in the country and has a mission to bring stably priced resilient power to the masses.\nOverview\nThe Multifamily Interconnection Analyst prepares, submits, and approves interconnection applications and manages all utility related requirements for projects through permission to operate (PTO).\nResponsibilities\nPrepares and submits utility interconnection applications and manage the relationship with the utility throughout the application review process through PTO\nReviews plansets for accuracy and completeness and works with Design and Engineering to resolve any discrepancies\nResolves any utility comments independently and delegates any remaining comments to Operations, Engineering, and Sales as needed\nOwn interconnection pipeline for assigned projects from initial application submission all the way through Permission To Operate.\nUtilizes software systems to record progress of various tasks and maintain project schedules\nObtains customer signatures as required, prepares project documentation, and organizes documentation\nCollaborates with other internal groups on actions needed to move interconnection pipeline forward\nCoordinate with other teams to ensure timely response to program requirements and corrections\nInteract regularly with multiple departments, such as Design, Development teams, Project Management and Construction Management.\nManages and coordinates utility outages\nIdentify areas of opportunity for pipeline efficiency gains and process improvement\nProactively identifies program requirement changes and potential risks \nProblem solve internal/external escalations quickly in coordination with other teams and communicate resolution in a professional manner\nCoordinates payment and reimbursement of interconnection fees according to company guidelines\nSupports policy related outreach for company initiatives, including improving utility processes\nAnalyze trends and challenges with interconnection/incentive pipelines and enact possible solutions\nMonitor automation tools as needed to meet requirements and timelines\nMonitor and follow up on the rebate reservation and payment, as well as Interconnection approval process within Service Level Agreement\nPrepare and Submit documents for utilities and/or incentive programs within Service Level Agreement\nBe the Subject Matter Expert in assigned markets on all Interconnection/incentive program requirements and processes and serve as a resource for internal stakeholders\nBuilds relationships with utilities and foster collaboration\nMaintains database of utility requirements and timelines\nPerform additional tasks as assigned\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred\nMinimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in renewable energy\nDemonstrated understanding of NEC, CBC, utility handbook and AHJ requirements to help push projects through utility reviews and resolve any issues that may arise\nKnowledge of interconnection processes and experience working with utilities is preferred\nExposure to commercial PV design and installation processes is preferred\nAbility to read and understand plan sets\nAbility to work autonomously and escalate issues to upper management as needed\nMust be a motivated team player, looking to succeed \nExcellent customer service skills \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills \nExcellent organizational and time management skills\nRecruiter:\nDanielle Levitan ()Please note that the compensation information is made in good faith for this position only.
