This position serves as a field-based resource supporting ISO 9001 compliance, safety program implementation, corrective actions, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nThe role will partner closely with branch management, regional leadership, and the corporate Quality, Safety, and Compliance team to ensure company standards are consistently implemented, documented, and sustained throughout the organization. Significant travel is required.\nRole and Responsibilities\nSafety Auditing & Verification\nConduct branch-level safety audits across all operating locations.\nEvaluate compliance with company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and established corporate standards.\nVerify implementation of safety programs, training requirements, inspections, and corrective actions.\nReview branch safety performance and identify opportunities for improvement.\nFollow up on audit findings to ensure timely closure of corrective actions.\nQuality System Auditing\nConduct ISO 9001 internal audits and surveillance activities.\nAssess branch compliance with quality procedures, work instructions, and documented processes.\nSupport branch preparation for external certification audits.\nVerify effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions resulting from audit findings.\nEvaluate implementation of quality management system requirements.\nRoot Cause Analysis & Corrective Action\nLead investigations related to customer complaints, safety incidents, process failures, and quality nonconformances.\nFacilitate root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies.\nDevelop and track corrective and preventive actions.\nVerify effectiveness of implemented actions and prevent recurrence.\nSupport branches in documenting and resolving NCRs, CARs, RMAs, and other quality issues.\nSupplier & Process Improvement Support\nParticipate in supplier audits and supplier performance evaluations.\nSupport vendor qualification activities.\nAssist with preventive maintenance verification and process compliance reviews.\nIdentify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for operational improvement.\nRecommend best practices and standardized approaches across locations.\nTraining & Implementation Support\nAssist branches with implementation of quality and safety requirements.\nCoach branch managers and supervisors on audit findings and corrective actions.\nSupport training verification and competency validation activities.\nReinforce operational ownership of safety and quality systems.\nQualifications\n5+ years of experience in quality, safety, operations, manufacturing, industrial distribution, or related fields.\nExperience conducting audits, investigations, inspections, or compliance reviews.\nStrong understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action processes.\nExperience working in industrial, manufacturing, distribution, hose assembly, fluid power, fabrication, or related environments preferred.\nISO 9001 auditing experience preferred.\nOSHA and workplace safety experience preferred.\nStrong communication, coaching, and organizational skills.\nAbility to travel approximately 50% of the time.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3331,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Manufacturing","Industrial Machinery"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-22T19:47:00Z"}],"liveness":{"score":90,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.903,"p_room":1,"age_days":1,"expected_fill_days":95,"reasons":["conf:1","velocity","win:early","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-09-24T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/sunsource-corporate-qhse-auditor","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/sunsource-corporate-qhse-auditor.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-24T13:13:19Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers"}}
