Interdepartmental communication skills required for working with both internal and external customers.\nRole and Responsibilities\nResponsible for all daily operations and development of annual business plan.\nCoordinate the Inside Sales effort, maintaining competitive market based pricing to maximize the Gross Margin and/or increased sales.\nResponsible for working with management and operations team to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient shipping, receiving and processing of material.\nResponsible for working with management team to maintain an accurate and well-organized inventory and planning and implementing storage layout of inventory.\nManage Inside Sales staff, production/fabrication groups, and distribution teams, including recruiting, training, and evaluating all operations personnel as well as weekly payroll management.\nRegularly make suggestions for improvement and work on continuous improvement projects for lean, quality and safety. \nEnsure that all safety programs, company policies, procedures and guidelines are maintained and properly documented.\nResponsible for developing a comprehensive succession plan for operations personnel.\nPerform other work related duties as assigned and be flexible and adaptable to changes that will occur during the course of employment.\nEducation and Experience\nHigh school or equivalent (GED) required. 4 year degree in related field preferred.\nMinimum of five (5) years experience of managing and supervising in an industrial distribution environment.\nMinimum of five (5) years demonstrated experience leading and developing individuals and teams.\nMinimum of five (5) years industry experience in fluid conveyance or fluid sealing.\nWorking knowledge of bottom-line business management with the proven ability to make sound business decisions, discuss and resolve problems.\nWorking knowledge of computers and business related software, experience with P21 helpful.\nStrong verbal, written, mathematical and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to read, write and speak English.
