This role is responsible for managing the performance and work execution of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support, and ensuring that maintenance activities are aligned with overall business objectives.\n Role Responsibilities\nProvide leadership and technical support to all maintenance personnel improving maintenance procedures and effectiveness.\nManage and control downtime and costs.\nAssist with planning, scheduling, and executing annual shutdown and assigned projects.\nCoordinate maintenance activities with all operational areas.\nInitiate purchase requisitions as required.\nManage maintenance of all plant equipment and facilities. Ensure compliance to all preventive and predictive maintenance programs.\nDrive HACCP, 5S and Integrated Management Systems (IMS) responsibilities for ISO and OHSAS Standards.\nIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement utilizing LEAN manufacturing tools and principles.\nUse appropriate RCPS techniques to help with operational improvements and ensure RCPC culture is embedded in operation.\nControl standards of work/service from contractors on site.\nAll administrative duties: Manpower time and attendance, field follow-up, safe work permits, compliance with SOP’s, accuracy of job descriptions, and departmental training is current and relevant for all reports.\nPeople management: Dealing with employee concerns, problems, discipline, grievances, etc.\nCompliance with standard operating procedures, legal and other requirements including health and safety, fire protection, environmental, quality, security and continuous improvement programs is a requirement of the job.\nMaintain good working relationship with all departments, staff, Beam Suntory resources, contractors and suppliers.\nThe individual will share the overall responsibility of implementing and maintaining best in class strategies ensuring standardized and efficient operations.\nEnsure budgeted items are expensed according to fiscal plan and where variances occur, identify and lead opportunities for improvement.\nSupport productivity improvement initiatives using lean methodologies, finding better efficiencies, managing cost, labour, material etc.\nInvestigate quality issues, define root causes, and implement corrective actions. \nEnsure accurate documentation of records and SAP entries.\nCarry out other duties as assigned.\n Qualifications\nDegree or Diploma in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or other related discipline, or a Journeyman in a relevant trade. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.\nThree (3) to Five (5) years of Supervisory experience in a unionized manufacturing environment\nStrong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and manage a team of maintenance technicians, provide guidance and support, and resolve conflicts is essential.\nExperience in Maintenance Operations, Process Control and Performance Measurement in a fast paced Consumer Goods (FMCG)/ Consumer Packaged Goods (CMG) preferably food or beverage manufacturing environment\nStrong technical background in maintenance, including knowledge of mechanical and electrical.\nStrong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with maintenance technicians, other departments, and senior management.\nProficient in SAP -
