You will work in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose on a long-lived codebase that is actively modernised—with quality, stability and customer experience at the centre of every decision.\n\n Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands\n\nLocation: Girona preferred / Rotterdam possible\n\n Way of working: Flexible hybrid\n\n Contract: Full-time\n\n Team: Team Cuba – Mobile\n\nYour impact\n\n Build and evolve customer-facing Android experiences using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.\n\n Own features from refinement and technical design through testing, Play Store release and production monitoring.\n\n Act as a technical reference for Android through code reviews, architectural decisions and mentoring.\n\n Align closely with iOS and backend engineers to deliver platform parity without sacrificing native quality.\n\n Evolve a modular Gradle codebase using pragmatic clean-architecture principles.\n\n Apply dependency injection, Coroutines and Flow effectively.\n\n Integrate and protect revenue-critical customer journeys involving payments, excursions, transfers etc.\n\n Use Firebase, Analytics and New Relic to understand user behaviour and improve app health.\n\n Use modern and agentic coding tools pragmatically to improve productivity and code quality.\n\nWhat about the team?\n\nYou will join Team Cuba, our mobile team. The team is growing to two Android engineers, two iOS engineers, one backend engineer, a Product Owner and an Engineering Lead.\n\nMost engineers are based in Girona, while the Product Owner works from Rotterdam.
