have your career soar to new heights - under our wing!\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nDevelop and maintain Power BI dashboards, interactive reports, semantic models and paginated reports.\nBuild DAX calculations, Power Query transformations and reusable data models that support accurate and consistent business metrics.\nOptimize SQL queries, reporting performance and refresh processes, and troubleshoot production issues.\nDeliver BI solutions through requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment and ongoing support.\nDevelop and optimize SQL queries, tables, views and transformations in Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric.\nDesign and maintain reporting-ready schemas and dimensional models using appropriate data warehouse principles.\nUse Python and notebooks for data preparation, analysis, validation, automation and application development.\nUnderstand existing ETL/ELT workflows, source-to-target mappings, scheduling and dependencies across ingestion, transformation and reporting.\nMonitor and maintain existing data pipelines, troubleshoot failures and collaborate with Data Engineering teams on structural changes and upstream issues.\nValidate data through reconciliation, completeness checks and investigation of missing, duplicated or inconsistent records.\nConduct discovery sessions with business units to understand processes, challenges, reporting needs and improvement opportunities.\nTranslate business needs into documented requirements, business rules, technical approaches and acceptance criteria.\nPresent prototypes and findings, facilitate user acceptance testing and incorporate stakeholder feedback.\nHelp business teams adopt BI and AI tools through demonstrations, guided pilots, workshops, user guides and hands-on support.\nExplain technical concepts, solution limitations and business benefits clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.\nGather feedback, address adoption barriers and evaluate usage and business outcomes after implementation.\nUse Snowflake CoCo and Microsoft Copilot to support development, analysis, troubleshooting and documentation.\nIdentify practical opportunities to apply AI and automation to business workflows, partnering with the Business Intelligence Lead to prototype and refine solutions.\nReview and validate AI-generated code and outputs for accuracy, maintainability and appropriate data handling.\nDevelop, evaluate and refine machine learning and deep learning models using Python to support predictive analytics and business decision-making.\nParticipate in Agile planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.\nBreak requirements into manageable tasks with clear acceptance criteria and effort estimates, keeping work items and delivery status current.\nManage competing priorities across development, discovery and production support in alignment with the Business Intelligence Lead.\nCommunicate progress, blockers, dependencies, scope changes and delivery risks proactively.\nMaintain documentation covering business definitions, transformation logic, data lineage and operational dependencies.\nFollow established access controls, change requests, data governance, version control, code review, testing and release practices.\n\nWhat You’ll Need\nMinimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in business intelligence, data analytics, BI development or a closely related field.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related discipline.\nStrong Power BI development skills, including DAX, Power Query, semantic modeling and data visualization.\nStrong SQL skills and hands-on experience with Snowflake.\nProficiency in Python, including data manipulation, reusable functions, debugging and error handling, along with experience using libraries such as pandas.\nPractical experience developing and troubleshooting notebooks, with an understanding of execution order, dependencies and reproducibility.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, including its data integration, notebook and analytics capabilities.\nStrong understanding of data warehouse architecture, database schemas and dimensional modeling, including star and snowflake schemas, fact and dimension tables, keys, relationships and data granularity.\nWorking knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and experience monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining existing pipelines, including scheduling, dependencies and failure recovery.\nFamiliarity with incremental loading, change data capture and slowly changing dimensions.\nFamiliarity with Snowflake CoCo and Microsoft Copilot, with the ability to critically evaluate and validate AI-assisted development outputs.\nKnowledge of machine learning and deep learning, including experience independently building and validating models using libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow.\nStrong communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to conduct discovery sessions and clarify ambiguous business requirements.\nExperience working in an Agile environment with strong organizational, prioritization and time-management skills.\nA structured approach to problem-solving, data validation and documentation, with strong ownership of deliverables.\nA master’s degree in a relevant field is considered an asset.\nExperience delivering business solutions using Snowflake CoCo or Microsoft Copilot is considered an asset.\nExperience with Snowpark, Streamlit, PySpark or Python-based analytics applications is considered an asset.\nExperience with Microsoft Fabric lakehouses and warehouses is considered an asset.\nExperience with Power BI Report Builder, paginated reports, Power BI Service, gateways and row-level security is considered an asset.\nExperience with Git, Azure DevOps, REST
