Reporting to the Lead Business Analyst, you will work within one or more Product streams, partnering with business and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and technology projects within an Agile SDLC framework.\nWorking closely with the stream Product Owner, you will use your business, technical and communication skills to collaborate with Development teams, Project Sponsors, Business Partners and vendors. You will analyze and break down business problems, identify requirements and help define efficient solutions and processes that can be successfully implemented.\nYou will play an important role in supporting the success of the Product streams by enabling continuous process improvement and helping optimize operations and workflows.\nApply now and have your career soar to new heights - under our wing!\n\nWhat You’ll Do:\nLead and facilitate requirements gathering and business problem analysis, providing recommendations based on identified business needs.\nAnalyze business documents, data models, vendor information, use cases, business rules, scenarios and data to identify functional and non-functional requirements.\nConduct gap analyses and data mapping, and develop business process maps, flow charts and relevant supporting documentation.\nDocument current and future-state business processes, identifying opportunities for automation where appropriate.\nMake recommendations to help the business optimize processes and better achieve its objectives.\nReport the status of assigned Business Analyst activities throughout the project’s system development life cycle.\nReview project artifacts and provide feedback to help ensure business needs and expectations are met.\nAnalyze functional and non-functional business requirements and translate them into clear documentation and conceptual designs for changes or enhancements to business processes, data and information systems.\nDevelop mock-ups and write clear, concise, criteria-based user stories, including expected outcomes and acceptance criteria for Development teams.\nWork with QA and Development teams to define business data requirements to support testing, including sample data and testing scenarios.\nReview test results to ensure specifications and requirements have been met, communicate results to stakeholders, participate in bug reviews and support overall testing.\nEnsure delivered solutions meet business expectations while working with stakeholders to simplify existing processes and streamline information flow.\nParticipate in the coordination of application upgrades and rollouts, ensuring end-user and stakeholder engagement throughout planning and implementation.\nParticipate in initial training sessions related to solutions when required.\nDevelop strong knowledge of the products and software solutions delivered and maintained by the Product streams and act as an internal Subject Matter Expert (SME).\nRepresent the Product Owner and Product stream when required.\nProvide analysis, solutions and recommendations to business and technology stakeholders related to architectural, technical and business process matters, with final decisions referred to the appropriate stakeholders.\nProvide input and recommendations related to Business Analyst resource requirements, project allocation and timelines.\nBuild strong stakeholder relationships while delivering clear, high-quality business requirements within established project timelines.\n\nWhat You’ll Need:\n1–3 years of relevant work experience in business analysis, systems analysis, requirements definition or a related field.\nCollege diploma in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\nExperience with Tour Operator, Airline or Hotel systems is preferred.\nExperience with business analysis, systems analysis, requirements definition and deployment of business requirements.\nFamiliarity with Agile Software Development Life Cycles and Waterfall-style traditional project approaches, as required.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex business problems.\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.\nStrong initiative, self-discipline and proactive thinking.\nProven ability to work effectively under pressure and with minimal supervision.\nStrong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach, solid relationship-management skills and a customer-centric mindset.\nAdvanced communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to prepare requirements and documentation for both business-oriented and technically focused stakeholders.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and Visio or similar process-mapping tools.\nAbility to learn new systems and features, combined with solid business acumen.\nFamiliarity with technology concepts and data integrations.\nWorking knowledge of APIs, SQL, XML, JSON and HTML is considered an asset.\nIIBA certification or a similar Business Analysis certification, such as CBAP, CCBA or ECBA, is considered an asset.\n\nWhat We Offer:\nGrow your career with challenging and rewarding work that makes a difference.\nOpportunity to give back through our social responsibility initiatives.\nWork with a fun, passionate, travel-loving team!\nGreat travel perks!\nFree parking.\nOpen-concept, collaborative workspace.\nSee for yourself!
