You will report to the Director of Corporate Development and have direct exposure to Super Group’s C-suite, while working closely with a range of stakeholders across legal, finance, accounting, product, regulatory, and other corporate and operational functions.\nWhat you’ll do\nYou’ll take ownership of work that gives us our competitive edge, including:\nLead the execution of M&A transactions across the full deal lifecycle, including sourcing, due diligence, structuring, and closing\nLead strategic and venture investments, from origination through execution and portfolio management\nLead broader strategic projects across the Group, including new market entries and internal due diligence / strategic reviews\nConduct sector, market, and competitive analysis to identify strategic opportunities\nBuild and analyse financial models, including operating models, DCFs, returns analysis, and customer cohort and unit economics analysis\nDrive due diligence workstreams across financial, legal, commercial, technology, and regulatory areas\nPrepare investment memos and presentations for the Investment Committee, Executive Committee, and Board of Directors\nMaintain relationships with banks, advisors, potential targets, and industry participants, and attend industry events and conferences\nThis list covers your core responsibilities - with plenty of room to stretch, explore and take on new challenges as we grow.\nWhat you’ll bring\nYou’re someone who brings:\nClear, confident communication (written and verbal), and the ability to breakdown complex ideas\nA collaborative mindset, working smoothly with cross-functional teams to hit shared goals\nStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects without dropping the ball\nExceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work\nAdaptability - you stay sharp, productive and positive in fast-moving environments\n2+ years of experience from investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or strategy consulting\nStrong track record of executing M&A transactions and investments\nAdvanced financial modelling and valuation skills\nProven ability to lead due diligence workstreams\nComfortable working independently with minimal guidance, while exercising good judgment on when to seek support\nStrong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and an independent mindset, with the ability to challenge assumptions\nExcellent communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills\nHigh agency, adaptability, and proactivity, with a positive, can-do attitude\nBachelor’s degree from a top-tier university (e.g. Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, LBS, HEC, ETH, Bocconi).\nDesirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve\nIt would be great if you also have some of the following skills:\nIn-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends\nPrevious experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations\nFamiliarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards\nExperience in developing and executing customer retention strategies\nFluency in English.
