You will take an active lead in ensuring cloud security guardrails are in place, continuously monitored, and aligned with industry frameworks such as CIS and NIST. Your expertise, and initiative will help shape our security capability. Your drive and ideas will help us move faster, improve smarter, and stay ahead of the game.\nWhat you’ll do\nYou’ll take ownership of work that gives us our competitive edge, including:\nDesign, implement and maintain security controls and systems using risk-based methodology and standards such as ISO 27001, SOX and PCI-DSS\n\nImplement and maintain preventive controls SCPs (AWS), Azure Policy, resource locks, and network segmentation (VPCs, security groups, NSGs)\n\nMonitor cloud environments for misconfigurations, anomalous activity, and threats via CloudTrail, Azure Monitor, GuardDuty, Defender for Cloud, etc.\n\nAdminister and mature the organisation's Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD) environments\n\nCoordinate with network and infrastructure teams on firewall changes supporting new projects, system deployments, and architecture changes\n\nMaintain and mature DLP tooling Microsoft Purview, Netskope or equivalent\n\nMonitor, administer and mature Secure Web Gateway (SWG) and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) systems.\n\nAutomating repeatable tasks and developing tools to improve operational efficiency.\n\nServe as a subject matter expert during escalated security incidents, supporting the incident response team with investigation, containment, and remediation activities.\n\nAdminister and monitor identity and access management systems\n\nIdentify security gaps and maturity opportunities via self-assessments and control review\n\nThis list covers your core responsibilities - with plenty of room to stretch, explore and take on new challenges as we grow.\nWhat you’ll bring\nYou’re someone who brings:\nClear, confident communication (written and verbal), and the ability to breakdown complex ideas\n\nA collaborative mindset, working smoothly with cross-functional teams to hit shared goals\n\nStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects without dropping the ball\n\nExceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work\n\nAdaptability - you stay sharp, productive and positive in fast-moving environments\n\nDeep technical knowledge of threats, vulnerabilities, and security controls.\n\nHands-on experience implementing, tuning, and operating DLP, IDS/IPS, firewalls, SIEM/SOAR, and endpoint protection tools.\n\nPractical experience responding to real-world security incidents and performing root-cause analysis.\n\nSolid foundation in networking and infrastructure security.\n\nProven ability to work directly with cloud-native security tooling across hybrid environments (Azure, GCP, M365).\n\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Security Tools and modern security stacks.\n\nRelevant certifications (SSCP, CCSP, CEH, CySA+ or equivalent).\n\nDesirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve\nIt would be great if you also have some the following skills:\nIn-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends\n\nPrevious experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations\n\nFamiliarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards\n\nExperience in developing and executing customer retention strategies\n\nExposure to geographically distributed systems and teams.\n\nOur values are non-negotiables\nOur culture is underpinned by core values that are linked to key behavioural competencies.
