This role is responsible for planning, executing, and optimising large-scale PPC campaigns (primarily Google Ads & Microsoft Ads) to drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and strong ROI within a highly competitive and regulated industry.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nCampaign Strategy & Execution\nOwn end-to-end management of PPC campaigns across:\nGoogle Search, Performance Max\nGoogle App campaigns (UAC)\nYouTube Reach, View and Demand Gen Campaigns\nMicrosoft Ads (Bing)\nDevelop and execute acquisition strategies tailored to UK Sports betting events (e.g. Premier League, Cheltenham, Euros/World Cup)\nBuild and maintain robust account structures aligned to product areas (Football, Horse Racing, Tennis, etc.)\nOptimisation & Performance Management\nMonitor daily campaign performance and make data-driven optimisation decisions across:Bidding strategies (tCPA & tROAS)\nKeyword expansion, match type structuring, search query mining\nAd copy testing and creative optimisation\n\nManage investment efficiently to maximise CPA, ROI and lifetime value (LTV)\nDrive continuous improvement through a structured testing roadmap\nData Analysis & Reporting\nAnalyse campaign performance using in-platform data and in -house Tableau dashboards\nIdentify trends, user behaviour insights, and growth opportunities\nDeliver weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights\nCompliance & Governance\nEnsure all campaigns adhere to:\nUK Gambling Commission (UKGC) regulations\nASA/CAP advertising guidelines\nInternal compliance policies (e.g. responsible gambling messaging)\nWork closely with Legal & Compliance teams to ensure ad copy and landing pages are approved\nCross-Channel Collaboration\nPartner with SEO, Display, Paid Social, and Affiliate teams to ensure integrated marketing strategy\nCollaborate with AI and UX teams to improve landing page conversion rates\nAlign PPC activity with wider promotional calendar and campaign launches\nStakeholder Management\nClearly communicate campaign results, challenges, and growth plans to the UK market team\nPresent performance updates and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders\nManage relationships with external platforms (Google, Microsoft reps)\nThis list covers your core responsibilities - with plenty of room to stretch, explore and take on new challenges as we grow.\nEssential skills you’ll bring to the table\nThe necessary skills that we require for this role include:\nClear, confident communication (written and verbal), and the ability to breakdown complex ideas\nA collaborative mindset, working smoothly with cross functional teams to hit shared goals\nIn-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends\nPrevious experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations\nStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects without dropping the ball\nExceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high quality work\nAt least 5 years’ experience in managing Paid Search Accounts at scale\nStrong experience within gambling, sports betting, or similarly competitive verticals (finance, igaming)\nDeep knowledge of:Google Ads & Microsoft Ads platforms\nBidding strategies and auction dynamics\nKeyword strategy and account structuring\n\nStrong analytical mindset with advanced Excel skills\nProven track record of driving performance against CPA/ROAS targets\nUnderstanding of attribution models and incrementality testing\nExperience managing large budgets (£ 250 000 plus monthly spend preferred)\nDesirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve\nIt would be great if you also have some of the following skills:\nIn-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends\nPrevious experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations\nFamiliarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards\nOur values are non-negotiables\nOur culture is underpinned by core values that are linked to key behavioural competencies.
