This is a high-impact role at the intersection of architecture, strategy, and execution, suited to someone who thrives on complex systems and ambiguous problems. You will help shape technical direction, guide major platform evolutions, and ensure our systems remain scalable, reliable, and efficient as we grow.\nWhat the role involves\nCollaborate closely with engineering leadership and teams to design and implement scalable, robust software solutions\nAnalyse complex system challenges and develop clear strategies for improving architecture, scalability, and platform efficiency\nDrive large cross-team initiatives from concept to execution, influencing decisions and aligning multiple teams\nEnhance system automation across scale, resiliency, and deployment\nBuild and improve core platform components and shared libraries (AWS, Go, Erlang, Kafka) used across the organisation\nWork with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand and drive platform-wide improvements\nBuild on our cloud-native platform, enabling greater use of AWS technology to accelerate delivery, scale, and resiliency\nGrow the engineering community, elevating standards and helping teams operate more efficiently\nWhat we are looking for\nMinimum 8 years of hands-on experience in a large-scale production environment\nExperience designing and implementing solutions at an organisational level, impacting multiple teams or tribes\nExperience engineering high-quality, highly scalable software\nStrong system design fundamentals, particularly in distributed systems\nAbility to analyse complex technical problems and develop clear strategies\nComfort working in ambiguous, high-impact problem spaces\nStrong communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction across teams\nA passion for creating user-centric, data-driven solutions\nWillingness to learn new technologies (our stack includes Golang and Erlang)\nNice to have\nExperience in Fintech\nInterest in functional programming\nAbout Super\nWe are a global technology group, dedicated to building the future of entertainment and fan-centric experiences.
