You can hear more from our team on our technical blog.\nAs a Back-End Engineer at Superhuman, you will play a critical role in building core parts of the Superhuman product offering, infrastructure, and features to help 30 million users write more clearly and effectively every day.\nAs a Back-End Engineer, you will:\nStart building and pushing code in your first week and ship impactful features in your first few months.\n\nBuild and support production services with high call rates.\n\nTarget high availability for consumer and enterprise customers.\n\nLearn how to build infrastructure as code (IaC).\n\nCollaborate widely with internal teams such as Core, Growth, Enterprise, Trust, and Data to deliver delightful product offerings to our customers.\n\nContribute to an engineering culture with a strong emphasis on documentation, testing, and user experience.\n\nEvaluate the systems and technology in place today while proposing systems and architecture that can scale for the future.\n\nHave the opportunity to mentor new hires.\n\nQualifications\nExperience in back-end development.\n\nDisplays excellent software engineering fundamentals, including knowledge of algorithms and data structures.\n\nDemonstrates perseverance when faced with tough technical issues.\n\nHas some experience with AWS or other cloud offerings (GCP, Azure, etc.).\n\nHas experience building, deploying, and debugging production systems at scale.\n\nCares about the end-user experience and strives to ensure high quality.\n\nHas a demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance, proactively manages tasks and priorities across multiple projects, analyzes and executes work efficiently, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrives in fast-paced, results-driven environments.\n\nSupport for you, professionally and personally\nProfessional growth: We believe that autonomy and trust are key to empowering our team members to do their best, most innovative work in a way that aligns with their interests, talents, and well-being.\n\nA connected team: Superhuman builds a product that helps people connect, and we apply this mindset to our own team.
