the owner, design team, and contractors to ensure quality and timeliness of project construction and completion\nImplement and manage the “Three Phases of Control” Quality Control Plan\nOversee submittal review and approval\nSchedule and conduct quality control meetings - Preparatory, Initial Phase, Follow-up\nControl documents related to quality control functions\nEstablish testing procedures in accordance with contract specifications\nManage inspections process\nCoordinate third party testing agents and interface with the Owner’s representatives as required\nClosely track and maintain a project deficiency log\nManage the punch list process\nOversee project closeout deliverable process-training, O&Ms\n Basic Qualifications for Quality Control Manager:Undergraduate degree in construction or related discipline or relevant experience\nMinimum 5-8+ years verifiable construction quality control and/or inspection experience\nTakes initiative and personal responsibility to always deliver value and excellence\nUses expertise to create a vision and aligns the team to deliver/achieve desired outcomes\nA track record of establishing/contributing to creative strategic solutions \nAbility to communicate effectively with, persuade, and gain “buy-in” from, a broad range of stakeholders (e.g., executive team, leadership team, Business Unit Leaders, direct reports, clients, trade partners, and third party providers\n Preferred Qualifications for Quality Control Manager:Experience in large scale construction management or construction trade with increasing levels of responsibility\nExperience with ensuring concrete, reinforced steel, structural steel, foundations and related systems is installed exactly to specifications and building codes is highly preferred\nMust be able to manage other inspectors and submittal clerks, as well as coordinate independent material testing and lab work \nAbility to process a large volume of submittals / RFIs\nPrior
