This position will work closely with Owners, Architects, Engineers, Construction Managers, subcontractors, estimators, superintendents, and internal project teams.\nThe ideal candidate is an experienced construction professional with a strong background managing projects valued at $20 million or more, excellent client relationship skills, and a proven record of delivering profitable, successful projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide overall leadership and direction for construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.\nEstablish project objectives, responsibilities, schedules, and expectations for the project team.\nEnforce company safety policies and all applicable local, state, and federal safety requirements.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, Construction Managers, subcontractors, and other industry partners.\nIdentify and develop opportunities for future business and actively participate in business development efforts.\nMaintain knowledge of current market conditions, pricing trends, and construction industry developments.\nParticipate in preconstruction, estimating, bidding, and constructability reviews.\nCollaborate with Estimating, Scheduling, BIM, Operations, and Proposal Management teams.\nProvide input for RFP responses, logistics plans, project schedules, and construction approaches.\nLead project interviews and presentations with Owners and project stakeholders.\nDevelop and maintain project schedules in coordination with the Project Scheduler and Superintendent.\nMonitor project progress and ensure construction activities remain on schedule.\nManage procurement activities, including scopes of work, subcontractor agreements, procurement tracking, and negotiations.\nOversee subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with contract requirements, schedule, quality, and scope.\nLead and participate in regular subcontractor and project team meetings.\nServe as a primary point of contact for Owners, Architects, and Construction Managers regarding project progress, financial performance, changes, and issues.\nPrepare and lead regularly scheduled Owner meetings.\nManage project cost control systems and maintain budget compliance.\nTrack potential and approved change orders and oversee monthly cost-to-complete forecasting.\nManage project permitting requirements, including building and occupancy permits.\nOversee the RFI and submittal processes to ensure project requirements are met.\nPrepare monthly owner requisitions and manage the funding and approval process.\nReview and approve subcontractor applications for payment and vendor invoices.\nParticipate in monthly company project reviews and communicate project risks, financial performance, and overall status.\nManage project closeout activities and ensure timely completion and release of retention.\nMentor and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and other project team members.\nUtilize current construction technology and software to manage projects in a digital/paperless environment.\nQualifications\nMinimum 5 years of construction project management experience managing projects individually or cumulatively valued at $20 million or more.\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.\nProven history of successful project delivery, client satisfaction, and profitability.\nOSHA 30-hour certification.\nFirst Aid and CPR certification.\nLEED Specialty Accreditation preferred.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Procore, and Bluebeam.\nWorking knowledge of Primavera scheduling and BIM.\nStrong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor management.\nExcellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines effectively.\nStrong leadership and team-building skills.\nSelf-motivated, trustworthy, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality work.\nAbility to work effectively in a digital and paperless project environment.\nWillingness to travel throughout the DMV Region as required.\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase Salary: $130,000-$150,000 annually\nAnnual Bonus: 10% performance-based bonus\nMedical Insurance: Full medical coverage\nDental Insurance: Full dental coverage\nVision Insurance: Full vision coverage\n 401(k): Company match up to 6%\nPaid Time Off: 3 weeks PTO, negotiable based on experience\nAuto Allowance: $1,000 per month\n Company Gas Card\nOpportunity for professional growth and advancement within the organization\nWhy Join?\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to take ownership of significant construction projects while working with a strong project team and established organization.
