This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for recruiter performance, candidate quality, pipeline management, and recruiting process improvement. The ideal candidate is an experienced recruiting leader who can coach a team, establish accountability, and step into priority searches when needed. This is an on-site role in our office located in San Diego, CA.Requirements\nKey\nResponsibilities\nLead, coach, and develop Recruiters and Recruitment Coordinators.\nMonitor recruiting KPIs, pipeline activity, candidate quality, interviews, and placements.\nConduct regular one-on-ones, pipeline reviews, and performance coaching.\nEnsure recruiters thoroughly qualify candidates beyond resume alignment, including technical experience, employment history, compensation, availability, work authorization, and overall fit.\nReview candidate submissions and provide feedback to improve screening and candidate quality.\nPartner with Account Managers and leadership to understand client needs, hiring priorities, and candidate feedback.\nOversee recruiting workflows and ensure consistent use of established processes and recruiting systems.\nDevelop sourcing and recruiting strategies for difficult-to-fill positions.\nPersonally recruit and screen candidates for high-priority or specialized searches when needed.\nIdentify opportunities to improve recruiting efficiency, quality, training, and team performance.\nQualifications\n3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within staffing, consulting, healthcare IT, or technical recruiting.\nPrevious experience leading, coaching, or managing recruiters.\nStrong full-cycle recruiting and candidate screening experience.\nDemonstrated ability to manage recruiting performance through both metrics and candidate quality.\nStrong communication, leadership, coaching, and organizational skills.\nExperience with ATS platforms and LinkedIn Recruiter.\nHealthcare IT recruiting experience strongly preferred; experience recruiting Epic, Workday, cybersecurity, ERP, data, or other technical professionals is a plus.
