Supermicro is seeking a stellar Firmware Engineer to develop, implement, plan, improve and manage the software application from inception to use. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in a team environment across multiple disciplines and making the requirements to rapidly deliver firmware solutions.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nResponsible for porting, defining, developing, testing documenting, and maintaining firmware for server system\nWork closely with the software and hardware teams to develop and integrate embedded code in a variety of processors: PICs, ARMs, etc.\nAnalyze, design, develop and debug embedded firmware for server system\nWork closely with support team for debugging/troubleshooting issues\nQualifications:\nMaster's degree is preferred\nBS in EE or CS/CE required\nMust have 2+ years working experience in firmware development\nStrong programming skills in C/C++ and Java preferable\nExperience in embedded Linux development\nExperience in ARMs processors\nExperience in IPMI protocol, virtual media and web server is a plus\nTCP/IP network protocols and typical network operation practices are desired\nSalary Range\nEEO Statement\nSupermicro is an Equal Opportunity Employer and embraces diversity in our employee population.
