The candidate will be working with team members to design, develop and perform test plans and procedures according to the SOP and will also record and deliver specific characterization reports based on the issues in software and hardware for in-house products. The position is based in San Jose, California.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nIncludes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):\nPerform motherboard and system validation test\nPerform hardware, software, functional testing with test tools such as Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Function Generator, etc.\nReport hardware and software quality issues into bug tracking systems\nRecord and update validation report on each performed task\nContribute to validation test plans and test cases preparation\nResearch root cause and solution of the quality issues which were discovered \nQualifications:\nBS/MS in EE, CE, or CS with 3 years of working experience in Hardware Validation or related is strongly desirable\nFamiliar with Measuring Instruments such as Oscilloscope, etc.\nMust have strong inter-personal skills\nAbility to communicate effectively in both written and verbal is required\nMust possess excellent teamwork, demonstrating problem solving and prioritization skills\nSalary Range\nEEO Statement\nSupermicro is an Equal Opportunity Employer and embraces diversity in our employee population.
