This position will be a leader for this technology and create aggressive go-to market plans, manage development of product with cross-functional teams (based on customer feedback), and develop product roadmaps.\nIn addition, this position is a core member of Motherboard Product Management team and engages in technical, product development, marketing, and pre/post-sales support activities.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nExecute in-depth research about customer applications and provide feedback to engineering teams on how to optimize products\nManage products through their entire lifecycle until product EOL\nCreate product roadmaps and develop strategies for successful product deployments based on deep understanding of customer requirements\nCoordinate operational activities from product kick-off to product launch; Ensure TTM launches with strong project management skills\nDrive product quality improvement during design and manufacturing stages\nCreate positioning statements, marketing and sales training materials, product specifications\nPresent training materials to internal sales force as well as externally \nTravel periodically to visit customers and attend trade shows\nConduct competitive analysis and develop ecosystem with partners in the industry\nDrive technical issues to closure by arranging resources and engaging with other engineering teams to duplicate and debug\nServe as third level technical support and provide pre/post-sales support\nManage critical support situations \nQualifications:\nBS in EE preferred\n5+ years of engineering experience preferred\nLinux expertise a plus\nExcellent knowledge of server systems, PC systems, and computer peripherals is required\nStrong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment\nEffective organization and planning skills\nDemonstrated experience working in cross-functional organizations\nCreative thinker, to develop new strategies and solutions\nAbility to lead extended teams and meet deadlines\nStrong understanding of market trends and customer needs\nStrong analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills\nSolid communications skills, both verbal and written\nAbility to travel up to 15% of the time\nSalary Range\nEEO Statement\nSupermicro is an Equal Opportunity Employer and embraces diversity in our employee population.
