This role focuses on optimizing production processes, troubleshooting equipment issues, and driving operational excellence while collaborating with cross-functional teams.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n1. Production Line Support:\nOversee daily operations on the production floor to ensure all processes run smoothly and efficiently.\nProvide technical support to resolve issues that arise during production and minimize downtime.\n2. Process Optimization:\nAnalyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.\nImplement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.\n3. Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting:\nEnsure all equipments are properly maintained and calibrated.\nDiagnose and troubleshoot/communicate mechanical, electrical, and software related issues on production equipment.\n4. Quality Assurance & Compliance:\nCollaborate with the Quality Control team to identify and address production issues impacting product quality.\nEnsure all production processes are compliant with relevant safety regulations and company standards.\n5. Documentation & Reporting:\nMaintain accurate records of production activities, machine performance, and maintenance schedules.\nPrepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to the Shift Manager.\n6. Team Collaboration & Supervision:\nWork closely with production operators and technicians to monitor and manage workflow.\nProvide guidance and technical support to the production team to improve skill sets and efficiency.\n7. Inventory & Resource Management:\nMonitor inventory levels of materials, tools, and spare parts to prevent disruptions in production.\nCoordinate with the planning team to ensure timely availability of required materials.\n8. Safety & Environmental Compliance:\nPromote and enforce a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and policies.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.\nProven experience (3+ years) in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the electronics or high-tech industry.\nPrevious experience in optimizing production processes and working with cross functional teams.\nStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.\nFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.\nAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis, etc.). Experience with analytical tools/software such as Minitab, Power BI, or other statistical analysis programs is a plus.\nAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities to identify and address production issues quickly and effectively.\nExcellent communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.\nStrong interpersonal skills to work effectively with production operators, technicians, and cross functional teams.\nAbility to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks with a proactive approach.\nWillingness to occasionally provide support beyond regular working hours in case of production emergencies.\nHigh level of attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards and safety protocols.\nEEO Statement\nSupermicro is an Equal Opportunity Employer and embraces diversity in our employee population.
