We seek talented, passionate, and committed engineers, technologists, and business leaders to join us.\nJob Summary:\n\nWe are looking for a Service Logistics Supervisor to support Supermicro Global Service network by managing service parts inventory and logistics globally. The candidate will be responsible for determining and ensuring that the right parts/equipment is delivered to the right locations, monitor and manage the stock levels and flow of goods, warehousing, etc. and will manage and improve the overall service related logistics.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nManage and oversee global service inventory logistics with primary focus in US\nReview and help draft contracts with 3PL and service partners\nReview and source 3PL partners/brokers to facilitate and meet logistics demands for existing and new regions.\nProcessing and reviewing spare parts provisioning\nReceiving, unpacking, delivering of server related goods\nMonitor and maintain inventory stock levels for service spare parts\nProcessing invoices and purchase requests for service spare parts and depots\nChecking in and out spare parts\nMonitor, support and manage reverse logistics\nReview and resolve discrepancies on demand and on regular established intervals (monthly and quarterly)\nDocument and improve processes for inventory control\nRoutine administrative work including data entry, labeling, and inventory counting\nWork with various internal teams including accounting, shipping, and RMA to track and monitor the stock at all the service inventory locations and reconcile any discrepancies.\nWork with 3PL partners to resolve logistics issues and discrepancies\nReview and/or conduct audits on various processes with logistics partners such as storage, stock level management, and system configuration/records management.\nManage importing/exporting requirements for moving equipment in and out of international depots and document processes.\nReview and analyze the service related logistics to determine and recommend improvements.\nDetermine the right parts and appropriate stock level based on the equipment configurations and guidelines.\nCompile file inventory reports both on periodic and demand basis.\nPrepare a periodic report on inventory status and logistics challenges/recommendations for management review.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree is preferred.\nAt least 3 years of experience in logistics is preferred.\nExperience in importing/exporting and international logistics is preferred.\nExperience and familiarity with quality control processes is preferred.\nExperience in the service industry is preferred.\nExperience in the IT industry is a plus.\nWork logically and systematically.\nMust be punctual and detail-oriented.\nGood time management.\nAbility to solve problems and make decisions as necessary.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nSalary Range\nEEO Statement\nSupermicro is an Equal Opportunity Employer and embraces diversity in our employee population.
