We seek talented, passionate, and committed engineers, technologists, and business leaders to join us.\nJob Summary:\nWe are looking for a Service Logistics Specialist to support Supermicro Global Service network by managing parts inventory globally. The candidate is expected to ensure that the right parts/equipment is are stoked, manage the inventory, and monitor defective returns to Supermicro.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nIncludes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):\nGo onsite to various locations to reconcile inventory and submit RMA\nWork to ensure defective parts are returned\nStocking FSL and monitoring inventory level and accuracy\nWork with 3PL to ensure parts are dispatched in accordance with SLA\nHandle reverse logistics for Service customers\nTrack all return items and proactively pursue non-returned items.\nMake order entries and work with accounting in processing the parts transfer\nWork with various internal teams including accounting, shipping, and RMA to track and monitor the stock at all the service inventory locations and reconcile any discrepancies\nFollow up with external and internal parties on outstanding parts\nWork with various internal product managers to understand the equipment configurations related to service and be able to detect errors\nWork with IT, ACCT, and RMA for needed reports and inventory reconciliation\nKeep internal database up to date for service inventory management\nEscalate any service inventory issue outside control to the appropriate TAM\nManage time effectively and be able to prioritize while meeting daily service expectations\nQualifications:\nMust be willing to travel 70% of the time\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or equivalent experience\nMinimum of 2 years experience from high-tech manufacturing industry preferred\nProficiency in MS Office and database management\nKnowledge of inventory management and logistics elements\nTravel will be required\nMust be punctual and detail-oriented\nGood time management\nWork logically and systematically\nAbility to solve problems and make decisions as necessary\nExcellent oral and written communication skills\nExperience in the IT industry is a plus\nSalary Range\n$75,000 - $85,000\nThe salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
