In this role, you will perform system-level testing, troubleshoot complex server and data center environments, develop automation scripts, and drive issue resolution through root cause analysis. The ideal candidate has strong software and system knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions while working closely with customers and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.\nThe position can be based either in the Netherlands or UK.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nPerform system-level software validation, deployment, and testing for strategic customers, including functional, stress, regression, and automation scripting for server environments.\nProvide technical support for strategic customer issues by performing root cause analysis, driving resolution, and ensuring clear internal coordination and timely communication.\nSupport on-site deployment and validation activities at customer data centers, requiring travel to customer sites as needed.\nLead or participate in failure analysis for critical issues and prepare 8D reports, clearly documenting root causes, corrective actions, and preventive measures.\nCreate and maintain comprehensive test plans, deployment procedures, automation scripts, evaluation reports, and customer status dashboards.\nParticipate in customer and internal issue review meetings, providing technical updates and recommendations.\nSupport global team collaboration to maintain continuous coverage and timely response for high-priority projects across time zones.\nEnforce software and system quality standards while identifying opportunities to improve deployment processes, automation, and support efficiency.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.\n1+ years of experience in software engineering, systems deployment, automation, or technical support, preferably with data center or server industry experience.\nProven experience in data center operations, server deployment, and troubleshooting.\nStrong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).\nSolid understanding of networking, server hardware, virtualization, and operating systems (Linux/Windows).\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities under pressure.\nWillingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or on-call support.\nAbility and willingness to travel for on-site customer support when required.\nExperience with on-site deployment support or customer data center environments is highly desirable.\nSolid understanding of validation methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking processes.\nExcellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.\nEEO Statement\nSupermicro is an Equal Opportunity Employer and embraces diversity in our employee population.
