We seek talented, passionate, and committed engineers, technologists, and business leaders to join us.\nJob Summary:\nLead a Key Financial Function: You will oversee global consolidations, financial reporting, and corporate accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.\nDrive Process Improvements & Efficiency: You will play a critical role in streamlining consolidation and reporting processes, leveraging technology and automation to enhance efficiency.\nInfluence Business Decision-Making: Your financial expertise will support strategic decision-making, collaborating closely with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Internal Audit teams.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nGlobal Consolidations & Financial Reporting:\nOversee the global close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.\nPrepare and review consolidation journal entries and intercompany eliminations.\nManage the global chart of accounts hierarchy and financial reporting structures.\nConduct analytical reviews of monthly consolidated financials, identifying trends and potential risks.\nEnsure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements for consolidated financial statements.\n\nAccounting & Technical Expertise:\nLead global lease accounting and long-lived asset accounting processes.\nManage intercompany transactions, foreign currency translation, and remeasurements.\nConduct fluctuation and variance analysis, identifying discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.\nResearch and document technical accounting matters, including complex transactions and new business initiatives.\n\nCollaboration & Stakeholder Management:\nWork closely with FP&A, Tax, Internal Audit, and external auditors to support financial reporting accuracy.\nProvide guidance and support to business partners on accounting policies and reporting issues.\nParticipate in ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives, implementing best practices.\nStay updated on new and proposed accounting standards, assessing their impact on the organization.\n\nProcess Optimization & System Enhancements:\nContinuously improve the consolidation and reporting processes, leveraging automation and financial technologies.\nCollaborate with IT and other teams to implement system enhancements and streamline workflows.\nIdentify and implement best practices in financial reporting and consolidations.\n\nQualifications:\nEducation & Certification:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.\nCPA or equivalent professional certification required.\n\nExperience & Technical Expertise:\n7+ years of relevant experience, including a mix of Big 4 public accounting (preferred) and multinational corporate accounting experience.\nStrong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC financial reporting.\nExtensive experience in global consolidations, intercompany transactions, and lease accounting.\nProficiency in large ERP systems (SAP) and financial reporting tools.\n\nLeadership & Analytical Skills:\nProven ability to manage and develop a team, fostering a high-performance accounting function.\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and solutions.\n\nWhat We Offer:\nCompetitive Compensation and Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth.\nImpactful Work: Your contributions will directly strengthen the financial reporting function of a leading technology company.\nGrowth Potential: Supermicro is committed to investing in employee development and providing career advancement opportunities.\nCollaborative Culture: Work alongside talented professionals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.\nSalary Range\n$150,000 - $200,000\nThe salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
